Our journey with this project began under challenging skies. Shortly after we started, several nights of heavy rain revealed an unexpected hurdle: a leaking foundation in this relatively new home. Determined not to let water dampen our spirits or the project…
We installed a pop-up relief valve and buried weeping tile to reroute the water away from the home. To ensure a permanent fix, we sealed the foundation with epoxy injections. Our efforts were thorough, testing against the elements until we were confident: the water would stay out, come what may.
But our adaptability didn’t stop there. Anticipating the challenge of maneuvering drywall sheets into the basement, we adjusted our framing approach early on. This foresight saved time and material costs, keeping the project on track and within budget.
In the end, the basement was everything we envisioned and more: a testament to resilience, adaptability, and meticulous planning. It was a smooth sail to the finish, turning a space into a sanctuary.
